Beware … we’re in for a scare.

We might even get tricks or treats (or both!) stuck in our hair.

Just kidding! But kids can still imagine how that might look and turn it into art to decorate for the spooky season.

Halloween Crazy Hair Art

This art activity is recommended for kids aged 7 and up, although younger kids could do it with some adult help.

The paint we’ve used for the blow art is diluted washable paint. It’s same as what’s been used in this Fall tree blow art activity. You can also do blow art as its own process art activty too—this would be a good option for preschoolers.

If you prefer, liquid watercolour paint (affiliate link) would also work straight from the bottle. It would give you vivid, bright colours with no dilution necessary.
