I’ve had bats on the brain this year with Halloween crafting! I’ve already shared rainbow bat treat baskets, 3D bat pattern art and now we have these DIY Halloween treats.

This is a cute idea that kids can make to hand out to friends or give to trick-or-treaters.

They’d also make fun party favours.

This tutorial includes two different styles of bat; A fizzy candy bat and a lollipop bat. Both are made using unlabelled lollipops and fizzy sweets.

There’s also a lollipop spider made using the discarded head of the lollipop bat (the ears become the spider’s fangs).

I’ve used bright colours to make my Halloween treats but you could go the traditional route and use blacks and oranges instead. It’s up to you.

Are you ready to make them? (There is a printable set of instructions at the end of this post).
