Aaaah, the irony of being an Aussie at Christmas!

It may be high Summer, but we’re still inundated with winter wonderland Christmas carols and decorations everywhere we look.

That’s OK with me, because I like snowflakes and snowmen. Since it never snows in my town, they’re kind of like unicorns to me.

Back in 2019, there was a light dusting of snow further up the mountains where my parents live—just enough for my daughter and I to build real snowman.

It was awesome!

Real snowman

He’s wearing my dad’s old fishing hat instead of a beanie, but apart from that, he’s just like the artwork, right?

Luckily, you don’t need actual snow to make this snowman card. All you need is a sponge and acrylic paint. It can be sweltering hot outside, no problem (or snowing, if you’re lucky enough to live in an actual Winter Wonderland).

This is a stamping project, so it would be easy to batch process cards for all your friends and family.

What a cool holiday greeting card!

Grab a kitchen sponge, and we’ll get started.
