Mother’s Day Present Card

Mother's Day present fold-out card Strawberries and cupcakes design

How cute are these fold-out Mother’s Day Present cards? There are four ‘presents’ in the set, each with a different illustrated cartoon message inside. If you prefer to illustrate your own, you can do that too because I’ve included a blank version.

This is a fun and easy DIY Mother’s Day card kids will love to make (and mothers will love to receive!)

Give Mom or Mum an extra-special surprise with these fold-out present cards.

My personal favourite is the ‘strawberries and cupcakes‘ design because I like strawberries and looooove cupcakes!

But if your mom is not a fan of sugary things, never fear! There are also designs featuring daisies and kittens, Mother’s Day tulips, or hearts and teddies.

Each illustration has a matching ‘present’ cover, but you can also mix and match the cover designs and inside pages.

Alternate versions to cater for different spellings of ‘Mom’ and ‘Mum’ are included in the template.

I’m not kidding when I say this card is super easy to make! The hardest part is choosing which one your mother will like best.

A combination of ordinary paper and cardstock is recommended for this craft. Using regular paper for the inside messages helps the card fold better and lay flat.

Age suggestion: 6+, but younger kids could make this with some adult help.
