Q: You know what we mums realllly want for Mother’s Day?

A: A good night’s sleep!

Zzzzzzz’s are the number one currency for busy mums. The funny thing is, most of us don’t realise how valuable uninterrupted snooze time is until we become mothers.

Am I right?

Think of all those midnight breastfeeds, sick days (and nights), school mornings and early drop-offs with not a lot of rest in between. And while we wouldn’t have it any other way, it does turn sleep into a luxury!

Even better if that sleep is enjoyed while wearing cute pyjamas, snuggled beneath our favourite quilt.

And of course, baby bear (or teddy bear) cuddles make that sleep-in all the more inviting.

With this printable DIY card, kids get to design a quilt and pyjamas for their mom in her favourite colours.

The quilt template has a pre-drawn grid to fill with pattern art. Younger kids could simply complete this as a colouring project.

Card stock is recommended for this project, but it would also work with regular paper, plus one sheet of construction paper.
