Birds live on every continent and are some of the most diverse and adaptable species on earth. They can be surprisingly intelligent, have long lives and come in a full rainbow of colours.

  • Our easy-peasy rock chicks are made from rocks and feathers gathered from the natural environment at a farm stay (but you could easily use craft store feathers too!)
  • How cute is this kid-made paper plate chick?
  • My daughter designed this recycled cardboard bird ornament as a preschooler when we were making some printable Christmas shape ornaments. I still hang it on the tree every year because it’s so cute.
