Q: What’s a more cheerful sight than flowers in Spring?
A: Kid-made flowers that spin in the wind!

I’m serious. There’s something magical about kid-made crafts. They have the power to cheer people up even more than a bunch of flowers. If you don’t believe me, try it with this craft and see.

Our template includes three stylised flowers to print, colour and make. String the flowers together into a hanging decoration with a bead for added weight on the end.

This works with the same twirling principle as our Spinning Egg Craft and Sun Spinner. It’s a STEM craft that kids will love.

If you wish, you could also use these flowers as a base for pattern art. Cardstock is recommended for this craft, but paper will also work.

Fold along the fold lines. Optionally, score the fold line first by holding a ruler against the dotted line and creating an indent with a scoring tool. Scoring makes the folding easier and more accurate.
