Celebrate and learn about Earth Day with a set of four Earth Day kids! There are two boys and two girls to make with mix-and-match shirts and hats.
Sit your finished Earth Kid on a shelf to advocate proudly for our planet.

It’s such a busy time of year for kids’ crafts! Amongst all of the Spring, Easter and Mother’s Day crafting, poor Earth Day gets a bit left out.
Well, not this year. These kids are small, but their message is loud and clear. The T-shirt slogans say it all…
Earth is my whole world.
This rock ROCKS.
Earth Day is Every Day, &
The whole world is in our hands.

You can print and create all four Earth Day advocates, or pick your favourite two.

Age suggestion: 6+, but younger kids could make this with adult help.
Cardstock is essential for this craft.
Let’s get started …
How to make Earth Day Kids
You will need
- White cardstock
- Markers – either permanent or washable kids’ markers. Make sure you have plenty of green and blue for Earth Day!
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- The Earth Day Kids template, available from our printables store and TPT store
How To
Print the template out according to the instructions in the download.

Colour one face, hat, shirt, arms and legs for each Earth Day kid you wish to make. For a seamless finish, also colour the neck on the body frame.

Cut the shapes out.

Fold the body frame along the fold lines.
Fold the legs at the knee, foot and waist line. Glue to the base of the body frame’s middle panel.

Glue a shirt and head into place.

Fold the hat along the rim. Glue it onto the head.
Glue the tab on the body frame so it forms a triangular stand.

Glue a set of arms to the sleeves.

Now sit your Earth Day kids on a shelf to advocate for our planet!
Earth Day is on April 22nd.
