Yesterday we shared a printable set of Earth Day Kid shelf sitters to advocate for our planet. Now you can complete the set with a paper crown kids can wear!
The template has two strips so the crown is adaptable to all head sizes—because why should all the advocating be left to the next generation? Parents and carers can make an Earth Day crown too!

I printed my crown on cardstock and coloured it with Sharpie markers. I added the highlights and bold, black lines using Sharpie paint pens (affiliate link).
But all you really need to complete your crown is something to colour it with, plus a stapler. You don’t even need cardstock for this one. Ordinary paper does the trick.
Are you ready to make one?
How to make an Earth Day paper crown
You will need

How to
Print the template out.

Colour the design on the top panel.

Cut the shapes out. Most kids will only need one backing strip, but some big kids and adults may need to extend the circumference by adding an extra one.

Staple the strip (or strips) to the panel to suit the individual’s head size.
