Print, colour and play these Christmas board games with your kids this festive season.
There are three simple games to cater for different age groups: 4-6 year olds, 6-8 year olds and 8-11 year olds (as a rough guide only). They are free!

Christmas is a time for baking cookies, shopping, decorating, catching up with friends, making DIY gifts and cards and … Whew! Are you tired yet? Because I am, and I haven’t even started any of these things yet.
Plus, amongst the bustle of our holiday activities, we still need to leave time to connect with our kids and find meaningful ways to keep them entertained while we get stuff done. I know, screens are *right there* and all too tempting, but there are other options—like our free print and colour board games!
Your kiddos can colour and decorate them while you’re busy, then when you’re done you can sit down and play them together. They’d also make a fun activity for the “kids table” at your Christmas and holiday gatherings. All you need to add are colouring pencils or felt tip markers, counters (buttons work well), and dice.

The ages I’ve listed are a rough guide only. Every kid is different when it comes to attention span and fine motor dexterity.
The games vary in complexity by the number of squares to play and also the level of detail for colouring. They have the added benefit of counting practice for little ones too.
Decorate the Tree – for 4-6 year olds
Colour the game, then play to help Bear find the tree so he can decorate it.
Help Santa find the Reindeer — for 6-8 year olds
Colour, then play to help Santa find his missing reindeer. If you don’t he might not be able to deliver his presents!
Christmas Preparations — for 8-11 year olds
Christmas preparations have put everyone into a festive frenzy, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be fun! Colour and play to help Santa and his friends get ready.
