How adorable are these Spring Animal Pattern Art Shelf Sitters? They make great seasonal decorations for Easter or Spring and are super easy to put together.
There are 3 cuties in the set to print, colour and make: A lamb, a chick and a bunny.

Q: Which Spring animal is cuter: a lamb, bunny or chick?
A: It depends on the pattern art outfit they’re wearing.

With this easy papercraft, kids can colour the pattern as is, or enhance it by using the printed lineart segments as a base for doodle art.
Of course, I’ve gone for the doodle art option with my examples.

To create my patterns, I coloured the segments and then used markers in a darker colour and white paint marker to add detail.
We love how cute they turned out.

Age suggestion: 6+ if using this as a colouring craft, 7+ if using as a doodle art activity.

How to create Spring Pattern Art Animals
You will need:
- White cardstock – paper will also work, but the result will be more flimsy
- Markers – either permanent or washable kids markers
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- The Spring Animal Pattern Art template, available from our printables store and TPT store
How To:
Print the shelf sitter template you wish to make to white card stock.

Colour the design and fill the animal’s shirt and socks with pattern art designs.

Cut the shapes out.

Fold the tabs on the arms and legs, and the fold lines on the body.

Now that my animals have been ‘dressed up’ in patterns, it’s clear to see that they’re all the cutest 🙂
