With three rows of regenerating teeth and their head honcho status as an apex predator, sharks strike fear into the hearts of many. But these animals are also one of the most misunderstood creatures on Earth.

Thanks, Jaws! The number of all sharks across the Atlantic experienced a 50% decline in the years following this movie’s 1975 release. By the turn of the century, Great White Sharks had become an endangered species.

Thankfully, numbers have bounced back to ‘vulnerable’ levels, rather than critically endangered. A fact we will now celebrate with a super cool shark paper bracelet.

How to make a shark paper bracelet

You will need:

  • Colouring pencils, felt tip pens or crayons
  • Scissors
  • Glue
